Below is a map of COVID-19 case rate per 1,000 people for cases reported in residents of each School District over the past two weeks (updated using data from October 2, 2021 to October 15, 2021). To create this map, Zip Code-level data from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) were aggregated to the School District level; click here to see the Zip Code version of the map or our Zip Code event risk map. Because this map uses recent data, this map likely provides a better characterization of a person’s risk of coming into contact with an infectious person in their community than a map of cumulative cases or case rates (which may include cases from months ago). We will continue to update this map as new data become available.
