Below are maps of the estimated chance that, at a 10-person event, at least one attendee has COVID-19 and is currently infectious. Click here for maps based on a 25-person event. This map is based on a similar map and methodology as the Georgia Tech COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool. We estimate the number of people currently infectious based on the number of cases reported in the last 10 days for each Zip Code (updated using data from September 8, 2021 to September 17, 2021), and our estimate of the current percent of cases in the state being confirmed based on testing volume (click here for more information). The data are from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). We will continue to update this map as new data become available.

Residents only

Percent chance that, at a 10-person event, at least one attendee has COVID-19 and is currently infectious. Calculations are based on residents of each Zip Code only, i.e., only residents of each Zip Code attend the hypothetical event. Click on a Zip Code for more information.
