The chart below shows our estimates of the percent of people in each county who have received the COVID-19 vaccination in North Carolina by day since vaccination began on December 16, 2020 through October 14, 2021 (the most recent data available). The data are organized by region (see map on right, click for County name), and the estimates are derived from county-level data on vaccines administered by NC providers, available from NCDDHS, which have been adjusted based on the number of statewide vaccinations administered by the Federal Long-Term Care Program. The percent values are based on the number of people age 12 and older in each county (i.e., those medically eligible to receive the vaccination). Statewide, we estimate that 60.14% of North Carolinians age 12 and older are fully vaccinated and 64.01% are at least partially vaccinated. People vaccinated with the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine or with both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine are considered fully vaccinated, while those who have received at least one dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine are considered at least partially vaccinated. We will continue to update this graph as new data become available.
